Samsung 850 EVO SSD Drive 250GB Black - €113 delivered

I was looking for SSD drive for some time now and found this: "h t t p://w w w. amazon. fr/gp/product/B00P736UEU" (can't post links) Ordered 2 already for me and my wife's laptop - seems to be a good value. Cheaper than Amazon UK.

French Amazon is about €12 cheaper than German one in this case.
€113 price from French Amazon includes delivery price too.

How's the 500gb version for 179 + shipping, 250 would be too small for me for main OS drive.

If I was you, I'd replace the optical drive on my laptop with your SSD and leave your existing hard drive in place for storing files.

If your laptop even has a DVD drive....they're going the way of tape decks.

That's still a good price for 500GB imo. The prices will always be coming down, but you'll have to take a jump eventually.

There are for €84.90 + delivery (about €7) on french Amazon now. They deliver to Ireland - I can confirm that - received 2 of them last week
500 GB version of Samsung 850 EVO cost €179.90 + delivery

Got one myself from Amazon UK and after opening the outer Amazon box discovered that the Samsung box inside was badly torn and the SSD was missing. Guess somebody had light fingers before it was posted.
Amazon customer service was first class and arranged a replacement on two day delivery.

Cheers for the heads up OP. I opted for the 120 GB model and after purchasing I received a popup from amazon.fr offering the 250 GB at €90, delivered. Sweet.

I had a OCZ SSD for a few years and couldn't fault it. I sold it to get a bigger capacity drive. The only downside as far as I can see is that OCZ have now gone out of business so I don't know how that would affect warranty etc.

Saying that it is an excellent price. I might even jump at it myself at that price.

OCZ has been bought out by Toshiba, and they new products are superior quality to what OCZ was offering before
