Taxation post illness benefit

I was out of work sick for 6 months August 2014 to February of this year and received 188 euro illness benefit directly to myself and no wages from my employer. Now I have returned to work and in my first pay check I have not been taxed at all I have just payed USC. Is this because I have tax credits carried over or something like that or is this likely to be an error? Thanks for any advice
