Hold the red and green button till the memory is cleared, then try 1234 again

Have you deleted all paired devices?

Have you tried pairing any other phones? What phone are you trying to use?

You can do all necessary work yourself, an auto electrician will just google it,

You can update software etc via a laptop that has bluetooth.

I'm not sure how to delete the paired devices . the problem is I don't have a pin for it . I'm using a oneplus one but have tried with a few other brands . if I can get it connected to my laptop would that be able to reset the pin ?

The pin is a default, I've never seen one that didn't have the default pin.

You need to go to "settings" with the wheel, then click on "paired dedices"
This will then show all phones paired. You can delete them by clicking on them and selecting delete.

Some phones aren't supported by the kit in its factory state, so you may need to put a newer software version on the kit using the laptop.

I think the memory's just full though.
You need to make sure your device is discoverable.

couldn't whoever had it before have changed the pin no ?

Possibly, don't even know how youd change the pin.
Either do a hard reset (press all three buttons at the same time) or manually delete all paired devices.

No point in getting too complicated if you haven't done the above.

+1 on deleting all previously paired devices it can only hold so many and after that goes through the motions of pairing but won't pair with a new device

I've seen this before. The Parrot should be telling you the PIN to enter into your phone during pairing, it's not the same as a security PIN that must remember. If your Parrot is displaying the letter 'P' instead of a pairing PIN then you have a well known problem.
According to some users in the Parrot forums you may be able to pair with the default PINs but if this doesn't work a reinstall or upgrade of the 3200's firmware is required. Unfortunately this may not be possible done over bluetooth since the 'P' can prevent any pairing whatsoever so you're stuck with finding an installer who can do it with a cable.
