    It's not income and under a grand wont have any effect on your means assessment..assuming you weren't above or it won't bring you above the 20 grand total savings allowable.


    For a married couple, with one on Non-Contrib State pension, is the 20 grand a combined figure or is it 20k per head?
    Husband has a current account that has just gone over the 20k so am concerned about the impact on his spouses NC payment
