    Hello.
We moved to a house about half year ago and when clearing up the garden, we removed a metal box that was placed on a bricked hole with bricks on bottom of it. It was ry wi spiders in it only. (The box was more or less rubbish just placed there, or so we thought)
However I have today noticed that it seems the sewage leaks into it after each flush of toilet.
I have covered this (no)hole but obviously this needs a fix quite soon. Could anyone advise whom should I call to look at. Always lived in apartments so have no experience with this type of issues.
    Many thanks

You need to figure out how your drains are linked to the public sewage system.

If you can't figure this out yourself by looking at the manholes and talking to neighbours, I would suggest you get somebody who would survey your drains with a camera and find out what is going on. If you can get a recommendation for someone, that is the best.

If there is a big problem, you will need a builder to repair or replace drains.
