Left luggage at Heuston?

Just wondering if anyone might have an up to date status on this as the internet is full of conflicting things? Some say it closed in 2012? I thought I remembered someone I know using a locker there more recently than that but I could be misremembering. The Irish Rail website helpfully says that the 'station information' page provides information on left luggage but it isn't mentioned at all.

If there isn't any, does anyone know why? I think it is very poor service not to provide them. Germany has lockers at almost every single station including a lot of the very small ones, so I don't know what Irish Rail's excuse could be.

They dont have any. Tipperary house across the river is the closest place that holds luggage.

They done away with them because they were being misused and vandalised.

Thanks Hilly Bill. Had found Tipperary House since via Google as well so going to be banking on it having enough space tomorrow!

Seriously beats me why anyone would want to misuse or vandalise a locker... They're not very exciting things! Suppose some people have very sad lives. Still really don't think it is a good enough excuse though for a national train station, they could get some CCTV or put them in a more prominent location. Now that I think of it some of the German ones are actually on the platforms so there is passive surveillance, but not all of them are and I was never at a station where there was any problems with them. I think it is a matter of management and priorities.

They might be making a return some time soon.
