I prefer the Jet Set tote, just on aesthetics really - I prefer the longer permanent straps and the more unusual shape of the bag.
I'd go for the tan colour because it's a classic that goes with everything, and the leather doesn't look as cheap in the tan as it does in black or navy IMO.

Thanks, think I'm leaning towards the jet set one. It's what I'd picked from the website then whey in shop and googling realised there we're much more expensive ones and the Selma seems to be the one in all the blogs etc that comes up.
A few comments about Selma shoulder strap being too weak etc.
Ok, gonna go for it, just gotta decide on colour. Thanks for the nudge towards a decision :).
20%off HOF this weekend, so may as well bite the bullet tomorrow instead of dragging it out any further. Still pricey enough as it is.

The 20% off is a good deal and I'm sure you could exchange it if she didn't like the particular one you chose so don't worry too much about the colour!

Go for the tan/brown colour. I have the Hamilton Tote in brown, it's gorgeous, goes with everything and I can dress it up or down as required.

I'm doing my best. It's her 30th and we've a new baby. She deserves more than money ;)
Anyway, for anybody considering a HOF bargain from their website these days it may be worth re -thinking.
Bag costs €250 in MK shop and in BT; wap £220 on the website, and 20% off, free delivery. Total sang us at £776 which I thought must be doing ok. Just checked my credit card account and it's been translated to €254 :o
    Ah well...

ah yes the exchange rate is a horror at the moment! I travel to the Uk a bit with work and previously would buy many things over there as it was cheaper - I got stung last month though!

Lovely gift for your wife i hope she loves it :)
