Immobiliser issue?

I've a 2000 Opel Corsa C 1.2litre petrol. I noticed yesterday when I went to start it, it took much longer to start. The battery had plenty of power, it just wouldn't do anything. It turned over fine but it didn't even try to start for about 5 seconds then started. It's done that about 3 times now. I usually starts right away. That's why I thought it might be an immobilizer issue.
Anything I can do at home myself to check or fix this?

Would it be the crank angle sensor? This went on it before, any reason it would go again if indeed it is that?
