How much do you feed a dog like this each day. I have chocolate brown coloured pet cocker, about 30 months old..... I can't seem to satisfy him with any amount of food.. I give him top quality Burns nuts... He is crazy for food all the time and will eat any crap he finds if I take him on the beach.. (He's also mad to swim).. I've wormed him.. He just devours his food each time.. never seen a dog to be so crazy for food

Have you given your dog a regular wormdose? If he eats a lot he probably needs it.

While Burns is a top quality food he follows the low protien ideal so his foods are fairly low in protien even their working dog range is only 18% protien I had dogs that I couldnt keep weight on when they were on Burns so switched to

and dogs seem to like it and are doing well

The pup should be on a high protein nut. 28-30% protein something like that.a puppy food preferably

Thanks. I'll try that..... a lot cheaper than what I'm paying for the burns....
Was initially feeding the dog Madra nuts and was always amazed how much the dog crapped...the garden was a mess. The vet told me to change to a better quality food ... and he was right... amount of crap was reduced and the dog put on more weight..
Having said that, my previous dog was a cocker/beagle x and it was fine on the Madra.

burns isnt suiting him find a dog food that is.some dogs react different to certain foods.add an egg or 2 boil is better they get more from it.Get the sardines from aldi 59p.give the eggs in the morning mixed with the nuts and nuts in the evening mix with sardines. That should put condition on him.some dogs just love food and woof it down.if he is choking when eating put a tennis ball in the middle of the bowl will slow him down as he will have to eat around it
