GAA Member Suspension

    Just wondering if somebody can help me out here please...

    If a member of a GAA Club has broken a Club rule and the Committee decide to suspend that member, Is there a time frame in which the suspension needs to be implemented or enforced by the Committee? Does it need to take place right away or can it be pushed out for weeks/months before being enforced?

    All rules for running GAA clubs and discipline (suspensions) etc are in the official guide here:

    Thanks for the reply Munchkin utd! The documents are helpful in terms of suspension, But they don't say what length of time is available to the Committee to implement/enforce the suspension.

    you'd presume that if the club doesnt specify it then it would default to the general rule which is :
    In the case of a Non-Player, (EDIT: "a suspension begins") from the date of acceptance of the Proposed Penalty or the expiration of the three days specified in Rule 7.3(r), whichever is the earlier
    its under "Term of Suspension" on page 137
