High protein milk replacer

Was with my neighbour looking at 15 Angus calves he bought. He was asking me would one of the high protein replacer grow a bigger frame calves. These are bulls. The lad in the coop put the idea n his head. Anyone on here do this r would it b a waste of money. The higher protein I think he said was a fiver extra a bag.
