Fair enough. The Auris hasn't much going for it apart from safety and cabin space.

What do you think of the 2006+ Honda Civic?

Get a last run 2007 Corolla Luna hatchback instead.

Nearly all the competition in that class are a nicer option than an Auris.

They are an incredibly mediocre car with little to no redeeming features.

I'd go with a Civic if you want hassle free motor ting but also a nice car to look at and drive with good spec. Had an accord and was perfect hassle free motoring only changed as wanted certain car for years so finally bit the bullet!

I seem to recall the 2008 Auris was one of the cars caught out by the sudden change to the co2 system of road tax.

A lot of them may be in Band D so be careful and check the tax if buying one.
