Has anyone done this program? I'm looking into applying in the next year or two and was wondering what the program was like

Hey- There are five similar programs on the Ireland of Ireland in UCD, TCD, UL, NUIG and QUB. Most people will apply to all of them as selection is very, very, very competitive due to the funded nature of the training.

Upon graduation you are required to work within the HSE for 2 years minimum.

This article http://www.ucd.ie/t4cms/IrishClinicalTrainingProgrammes.pdf provides a useful background to candidates. Most individuals will have 1-2 years experience as an Assistant Psychologist, research assistant posts, extra training, high grades and experience of publishing or presenting work.

    Hope that helps.
