Hi has anyone every been denied laser eye surgery by one consultant and accepted by another as compatible? If so then gone ahead. I've been accepted as compatible for Lasik with Optical Express, denied by Optilase.

If I were you I'd get a third opinion. Have optilase told you why you aren't a suitable candidate?

I have a stigmatism in my right eye which I knew of, during the consultation she thought I'd be an ideal candidate for PRK but surgeon declined, she suggest I get lens surgery its very expensive. I don't really want to travel up to Dublin for a consultation are the only providers in Cork Optical Express and Optilase
