How do you estimate a population mean in stats given sample mean, standard deviation and error? I know there is probably an easy answer but I can't figure out how to get it

Can you be a bit more specific about the exact question you're asking?

If you have information from a random sample, then the best point-estimate of the population mean is the sample mean.

If you want to give an "interval estimate", then you need to give us more information. What confidence level do you want the interval to be at? What size is the sample? What shape is the population distribution? (If the sample is large enough, this last question might not matter.)
