Will this box receive saorview?

    I'm sure it will receive Saorview but as it is not approved I doubt if it will decode MHEG text. If Ireland is not in the country list you may have clock problems stuck on GMT all the year and all channels in the 800s. Shared streams may not work properly either.

    I would be fairly sure Ireland would be in the country list. It's German made and I have set up a few as satellite receivers with the sponsors vix image on them. however a mate wants to know if it will receive saorview and as I have no aerial myself I can't really answer the question.

    Have no experience of these though. Are the clones? do they need to be patched to run the vix image?

    On the text thing. I have old style text through the satellite tuner.
