    Folks,

Only ever has a windows phone, but now thinking of Android.

Out of contract with O2/3. currently 18mths in length.

Looking at the following on line with 20% discount included.

Sony Xperia Z1 Compact: free on 18 mth contract

    Sony Xperia Z3 : €79 on 24 mth contract

Sony Xperia Z3 Compact: €159 on 18 mth contract

Sony Xperia Z3 Compact: Free on 24 mth contract

    HTC M8 : €39 on 24 mth contract

Would also be open to other suggestions.

    Thanks in advance.

Feck contracts. Buy a phone outright and get a sim card.

what are you getting for those prices?
    unlimited calls texts and data?
id say the same as Mezcita though. if you can afford it its worth it in the long run
tesco mobile. unlimited calls texts and 1gb of data for 15e. with clubcard vouchers and change over works out at less than 120 a year. leaving you with the cost of buying a phone. so just to put that into perspective if you went down the route of say the z3 paying for the bill over 2 years = 240 * roughly
that leaves you with 1600 to pay for the phone.

saved ya over 1200 euro over the 2 years, works out at saving you 50e per month

SIM Only Plan and a OnePlus One

If you must stay bill pay, get the HTC, Sony phones are very finicky, prone to breakages too

If you are staying with bill then I would wait a couple if weeks. HTC M9 & Galaxy S6 will be out, both should come in under €200 (on the highest price plans). Well worth it on resale value alone for future, plus you get the latest and greatest phone.
