Help filling out form? I don't really want to ring the social welfare office but how do they know how many people working there are in the house you live in?, and how much each earns?. I'm currently out of college and can't find work and I'm trying to get social welfare. How do they know what I write down on the form is the income of my parents? The form for applying for social welfare seems so complex, can someone help me out?, thanks

If you are under 25 and living at home and both your parents work then you will have to provide 3 recent payslips for each parent. If they are self employed then your claim will be sent to a social welfare inspector. Also be aware that when signing this form you are signing a declaration stating that all the info you have provided is true. Can you not ask your parents what their income is?
