No the PO isn't open on Paddys Day. Payments due Tuesday will be available for collection Monday.

Personally I'm wondering is there much of a chance of my money being there Saturday (I normally collect Monday).

Hi, my Post Office isn't open Saturday but normally on a Bank Holiday I'm paid on a Friday. Does anyone know if there is any chance the payment will be available today?

Confusing since I sign on a Wednesday and the post office receipt assumes I sign on a Tuesday. So the date for next sign on is down as next month. & I'm not sure if that's just cos there is no signing on Tuesday cos of it being paddys or if there is actually a month being skipped.
Looks like the social welfare site is saying that it is only the Tuesday signing being skipped and other days are signing. But if i go by the date on my receipt/docket plus a day which people have told me to in the past I might be missing a day.
Do wish the texting system worked but it doesn't seem to. I've never received a reminder text from them.

& I only stumbled on the welfare site cos I was wondering if Post Offices were open on Monday, since they often move a Bank Holiday to the closest Monday or so i thought, so was googling opening times and came onto that. Maybe I need to make a note when I sign on but that PO receipt date plus a day normally works
