Small wedding Dunlaoghaire

We're having a very small wedding in Dunlaoghaire next month. Is it possible to get a photographer to come out to our venue, literally for an hour? From what I've read, they generally prefer to set aside a full day for a wedding as it makes more sense financially. No harm in asking though!

Our other option would be to call to a studio near the venue and book an hour session there, but then we won't have any nice outdoor shots by the sea and won't have the other family members there.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

ETA I'd love to get recommendations of good photographers in the area too.

You could call to a few photo studios in Dunlaoghire (if any)and ask, they can only say yes or no, would you have any friends that are good with photography, they might do it, or another option might be if there is a photographic club, maybe call in and see if any one would be interested in doing it, (for a fee)

Some photographers offer half day packages, some will charge by the hour. If they have nothing on that day then I think they will be more than happy. I know I have shot weddings that the couple have only wanted me for a few hours.

You might find that if it is midweek it will give you a better choice of photographers. There is a thread here where you can look for services http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055524252

Please keep advice in the thread general in nature. Do not offer services yourself or on behalf of others.

@ Ruby31 after looking at the posts in the Services Thread (located in the Stickies) feel free to post your request there.
