I got an email a short while ago from Saxo Bank to say that they're introducing a referral programme, where you get £250 for referring a friend to them, who in turn gets £125, when they open a trading account with under £60,000, and make three trades. (I think the minimum to open a trading account with them has gone up to £6,500, or about €9,000; I think it was about €6,000 a year or two ago when I opened one).

(Funding between £60,000 and £300,000 gives double the above amounts, and funding above that gives four times the above amounts).

What are people's thoughts? Is Saxo still the best option for opening a trading account with, or is there a better option at present? If it's still the best option, then this is a nice bonus for anyone signing up.
