    Good morning,

If you have any safety concerns in relation to your electricity supply, you should contact ESB Networks on 1850 372 999. ESB Networks work for all suppliers. They should be able to advise you if it's likely to be an internal issue or an issue with your electricity supply.

Any internal wiring issues would be in the remit of your own electrician, while any issues with the meter or the wiring going into the meter would be the responsibility of ESB Networks.

    Regards,
    Aoife

That could be lots of things. If you're concrned about electrical issues - ring an electrician.

It could also be heating or water pipes. A valve can sometimes cause a buzzing noise.
If it's a semi detached house it could also be a fan, pump or other device carrying sound through the structure from next door.
