    Hi miss black,

    Thanks for your post.

A Revenue cheque cannot be endorsed.
The cheque would need to be lodged to an account in the name of the person it's made payable to.

    Thanks

    Billy

Ok thank you for reply the advice seems to be quite conflicting I was led to believe when it was crossed with account payee it was a general crossing & could be endorsed as apposed to account payee only or a specialised crossing?

    Hi miss black,

Revenue cheques cannot be endorsed and it would need to be lodged into your husband's account as it is made out to him. Sorry if you received conflicting information on this.

Please let us know if you need help with any other query.

    Thanks,
    Sarah

    Hi miss black,

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes it is possible as long as you're lodging this in to a joint account that is in your husband's name. He will need to endorse the cheque by signing the back of the cheque.

    Thanks,
    Sarah
