Is this boiler OK?

    Hello Folks,

this is the boiler which I found for sale on the net. Grant 70-90. Happy enough.
However, the guy tells me over the phone that he has taken out the orange cylinder shown there as he needed it elsewhere. He says the plumber put it in, in the first place and it didn't come with the boiler!!
Also, he says that if I still want this he has another cylinder which he can give me but its too big to fit inside that boiler case. Says its not needed really as I have a tank upstairs etc.
Thing is, I have seen these on the net and they do seem to come with this orange cylinder. So, is he bull****ting or not?

    Thanks for your opinions

He is not, although buying a second hand boiler is risky,my advise would be to buy a new grant vortex or grant euroflame.they are also way more efficient

    Thanks agusta,

so the boiler did not come with this cylinder originally?

I do not have any tank yet in attic. Is the boiler with that cylinder a better job than having a tank upstairs?

    Much appreciated
