    I was invited to this and was kinda surprised to see the last division mentioned

    there really are some incredible PVC bows on youtube!!

    We should have home-made, non traditional, materials competitions here! Would be a blast. (aside from the occasional maiming of course)

    I would defiantly make one for the heck of it if I had somewhere to build one, its not that easy to get the "right" PVC to build bows with either over here (only the "blue" type pipe is widely available which is too soft)

    Honestly I was just surprised that they even included it in a National Body Competition, even more so as I only know of 2 guys that shoot PVC bows regularly here (Philippines). Even Barebow only got recognized a year or two ago (catching on fast though).

    hehe, I wonder if this kind of recognition might open up the doors to "diy" bow categories internationally in the future

    Check out BackyardBowyer on Youtube, he's been making PVC bows in different variations for years..
