Recommend a run around

I am looking to get something cheap as a run around. What do people recommend? Something under 1300cc and I don't want to spend more than €1300. What cars are best for resisting rust also. The only reason I am looking for a run around is that I have a no claims bonus built up that will expire soon as the car I have it on is off the road. It is an S2000 so it's not practical for me anymore.

Take each car in its merits at that price. Something like a suzuki liana, older corolla etc?

Does anyone know what would be the cheapest car to insure. Something 1 to 1.2 litre around 2001 to 2003.

There is no such thing as a "cheapest" car to insure for everyone. Insurance is tailored as much to the individual insuring it as the car being insured. Prices will vary depending on what demography you fall into or how a particular insurance company class your risk to them. Prices are different for everyone so you need to ring around for quotes.
