Any opinions on the Trek Domane 4.1?

Also does anyone know the weight of it? I can't find it anywhere! My LBS is offering it to me for â‚¬1,200. Is this a good deal? It's replacing a battered 2009 Felt Z70 so should be streets better!

The Domane 5.9 is 7.49kg in size 56, the 4.7 is 8.18kg in size 56, the 4.3 is 8.79kg, so the 4.1 is probably 9kg ish.

Thanks for that. Was told in the shop that it was under 8kg but he seemed to be plucking that figure on the basis that its a carbon frame!

Still seems like a nice bike! anyone have any experience of it?

have a 4.3.its ok on flat roads.comfortable on lumpy roads.****e at going uphills

Domane was designed for cancellara for use in Flanders/roubaix so it's main selling point is its comfort

This is possibly true, although those races have very specific demands and a history of producing "unusual" designs.

@armaghmagic.the 4.3 I have is around the 8.6kg[lidl scale] mark for a size 54 with slight upgrade on the wheels from bontragerstock ones.the bike is grand for our roads[except hilly].to be honest I wouldn't buy another one if I got cash for a better version.i would go for something different
