Samsung gear with iPhone?

There's some videos on YouTube where people have got basic functionality to work by Bluetooth pairing the Samsung gear with iPhone. However, I think I read something lately that Google were planning an iOS release of the giftware that will give full functionality of the Samsung gear on iPhone. I can't find where I read it…

However, I think I read something lately that Google were planning an iOS release of the giftware that will give full functionality of the Samsung gear on iPhone. I can't find where I read it & am now thinking I may have dreamt it!!

Anyone know anything about it? I think I'd like the Samsung gear fit over the iWatch. Price aside, it seems like a more functional fitness device.

I think there was a rumour they'd release it but nothing concrete.
