    Anyone here know which would be the best bank account or savings scheme at the moment to open for my new daughter??

    Not enough info.

    Do you have a lump sum or are you contributing regularly?

    How long do you want to save for?

    Do you need access to it in the event of an emergency?

    Are you happy with currently poor bank deposit rate returns or would you prefer riskier investments that could do better over time?

    etc.
