Might not be much of a bargain but looks like a decent price for a 18v Li-Ion unless I'm completely missing something. Skil would be more known for there saws.

There's a 14.4v Li-Ion battery drill in Lidl on Monday for €40 and I was in need of something for a bit of DIY so started looking at what else was on offer. I looked on Amazon, Argos etc and came across this on Woodies.

Also has hammer action although, I'd be sure to blow the thing up if I used it.

    Link!!

€5 for delivery if its not in your nearby store.

Good price for a skil and also Li-Ion , however if only one battery, this limits how useful it is

Woodies have a deal on the moment. €50 for this Black and Decker. I bought one two years ago and still going strong. Obviously not professional standard but good enough for casual DIY. Mine came with two batteries.

I moved to Li-Ion last year, only negative is that unlike Ni-Cad they don't slow down gradually as battery depletes, they just stop with little warning, you really need two batteries if you're in the middle of a lengthy task

It was about its price in fairness.
