1977 drugs act retracted what does this mean for me?

If I am correct the 100's of controlled substances are now legal to possess without a prescription.

If I am also correct the law that prevents forgery of prescriptions has also been retracted as part of the 1977 drugs act.

If I'm correct in my logic, anyone can go into a pharmacy with a forged prescription and have access to previously restricted drugs.

What happens to the prescription after a new law passes will a person be in any trouble for what they did while this was legal?

No malice here, just genuinely curious in what will be going on in pharmacies for the next few days.

Less than 100 by my estimate. Mostly of the "head shop" variety of recent years.

No idea where you are getting the idea that forgery of prescriptions had been affected?

The whole 1977 Act hasn't been struck down. Just s.2(2).

    Supply remains illegal.

As does possession of most mainstream drugs.

You could still be hit with charges around forgery, as opposed to forgery of a prescription.

The Drugs Acts aren't the only thing stopping a pharmacist giving you drugs.
