Moving to a new flat while on social welfare?

    Hi,

I'd really appreciate some advice on moving to Cork from Dublin.

I'm currently on social welfare but I'm not paying the flat through rent allowance, and could afford to move to a flat up to 600/monthly (that's also what I'm paying for flat now in Dublin). Is it difficult to get a new flat if you're on dole? I'd imagine most of landlords want to see a letter from employer? Has anyone else moved while on the dole? Did you have any problems?

    Thank you.
