First Road bike - need advice

I am caught between a KTM in Richies and the Merida in Top Bike.
The servicing is included in Richies but the groupset is a set down.

Any advice welcome.

I think there are better deals available out there so I'd have to say neither. For €1000 you can get a Cube with full 105 and Fulcrum wheels. Although I think the KTM looks very very good.

In uncur with the cube peloton race, it's Ã¢Â‚Â¬999 and you get full 105 groupset which is 2 steps above sora, and it's not full sora there is Claris jn their too. And the cube is a full kilo lighter!

The cube is the most bang for buck bike at the moment, so glad i did my homework and really looked for the best value and best deal, couldn't be happier with my cube. KTM is pretty though!

Am I reading it right that the KTM has alloy forks?

If so, the Merida wins hands down. But there is indeed much better value for that money out there; Planet X pro carbon sl, canyon road lite al, rose versand etc.
