Can you help estimating the sale price?

My dad passed away recently and now I have the sad job of selling his car, an 05 Opel Tigra. It's been parked outside for nearly 2 months and it won't start now, I've tried jumping it, but no luck.

The insurance & nct are out, I'm flat broke and can't afford to get it towed to a garage or get a mechanic to call out. There is a leak in it somewhere, so I'm guessing that might have something to do it.

Anyway, I'm going to try and sell it on done deal as damaged, but I have no idea how much to reduce the price by. If it was running, I'd sell it for about 2.5K, but I have no idea how much I should reduce the price by. How can I estimate a reasonable price for it?

You need to get it running. Even running without nct you're looking €1750

The battery could just be completely fecked. You should really get a battery out of another car to check.

The battery was replaced about a year ago, could it be fecked even after a year? The car wasn't driven for about a month.

It's most likely gone in that case.

You might find someone who would charge the battery overnight, maybe your dad used a local garage?
