that always confuses the hell out of me as well. the similarity in the stories is unreal. must go and watch season 2. completely forgot about it in the autumn.

Can Americans not just read the subtitles? I'm guessing the racier content will be omitted from the remake.

Some Many familiar bits if you've seen the original. Might tune in.

I really like the cast, and I've heard the first episode is great. Looking forward to checking it out.

    Existing thread. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057222803

I might give it a miss. As US remakes go, it doesn't hold much interest for me and I'm kinda busy enough with trying to watch stuff, but we'll see.

Alan Sepinwall didn't give it a very positive review. Link.

I had a quick search before starting this one and only saw threads for the original one.

Anyway I really enjoyed the pilot and the cast is strong.

I did get a very strong 4400 vibe from it I just hope they have an ending unlike the 4400.

It's on Netflix. One new episode every week. A Netflix "original" in the same way as Better Call Saul is a Netflix original

I've watched the French version which was very very atmospheric. I think I'll stick with the French version.

Never saw the original French version but I'm liking this version from what I've seen.

Anyone know why netflix have only 1 episode up while 2 have aired in the US? I'd like to watch this via netflix but if they're going to be a week behind then I wont be waiting for them to catch up.

It seems to be there now, though it says 3 won't be available until March 24th.

tbh it looks like this might get a second season before the french one as it is 3 years since that came out

I watched the first season of the French one and, although it was well made, I thought the plot was just daft.

How does this compare to the original show?
