I used to order a lot from amazon.co.uk but with the exchange rate its ridiculous shopping there now. The £25 free delivery used to be around €30. Its now coming up to around €34 and that just keeps going up and up.

I have never had a problem with shopping on amazon.co.uk. All very straight forward and I only ever had to return one item. Even the returns process was easy, send it to Dublin.

Does anyone shop regularly on the other Amazon websites other than the amazon.co.uk.

Is it all straight forward like the uk. I'm a particularly interested in their returns policy and how easy or difficult it is to return an item. Just in case if the situation ever happened.

I am currently looking at an expensive electrical item. If anything happened how easy would it be to return it. Do you send it to Dublin similar to the amazon.co.uk returns or send it back to Spain if you ordered it on amazon.es.

Sending it to Dublin is straight forward. But sending it back to Germany, Spain or Italy, it might not be.

An post might not take it cause they have some issue with batteries. I read something here, that someone had an issue returning a keyboard because An Post wouldn't take it, even though a keyboard doesnt have batteries.

Does anyone shop regularly on these websites?

I order quite a bit from amazon.de. The problem is that you always pay postage as the minimum spend for free deilvery doesn't apply. You have to work out on a case by case basis whether it's worth it.
Returns are easy. Had to return a mobile that developed a fault and thought I was snookered as An Post doesn't accept items with batteries for shipment abroad, but the address on the return label was for Dublin. Send it off and had the money returned to my account promptly.
