    hi
    would anyone have any advice on cricket coaching for adult beginners. have been a fan of the sport of nearly 10 years but have never picked up a bat before. i live in the centre of dublin

    Get involved in a club - most welcome new members and will have facilities to provide coaching. If you live anywhere near the Phoenix Park, check out Phoenix CC, or Civil Service CC.

    Not all clubs are are so good when it comes to complete beginners I found out years ago, for your own sake hope to find one that will actually coach you, rather than just have you spending time in the nets with a few pointers. Taverners cricket if it still exists can be a good laugh if you just want to play and have some fun
