Ideas for capping/Hiding speaker cables

I think here will be better than the diy section for this question.

I will be soon leaving my own apartment and renting it out, but I don't know what to do with the cables for the surround sound on the walls.
I don't particurally want to leave them there as they will look awful if there is no speaker, and I'm not keen on the tennants using them as that puts the onus on me to maintain them (I know that can be dealt with in the tennancy agreement).
I will have to patch up the screw holes from the speaker brackets but I don't want to remove them completely as having it wired will help the eventual resale of the apartment.

Is their such a thing as a cap that can be fixed to the wall over each ofthem that looks neat?
Also what should I do with the other (amp) end, they are far more difficult to hide there.

Done properly with a speaker wall plate LINK

But to hide them : LINK with the wires taped to it's back. The wall speakers could be hidden by a simple twin banana receivers LINK
