preparatory carpentry course

    Hi all I want to do an apprenticeship in carpentry but don't have a junior cert to meet the requirements for doing one.But I heard of a preparatory course you can do to help get an apprenticeship. Does anyone have any information on these course like how long the run for and where you can do them any help greatly appreciated.
