    Hi folks,

Currently looking at changing my 2010 Qashqai for a 2011 Insignia or something similar. I miss the power and comfort of the saloon car which is my main reason for change.

Qashqai is the new model Accenta. 95,000km, NCT till Apr 2016 and taxed till July 2015. New tyres also.

I guess Im looking for a guide as to what I could expect on a trade in for my car? 2 Insignia's Im looking at are coming in at 13,995 for 2011 models.

Why not throw yours up for sale on carzone, donedeal and buy&sell.

See what others are up for sale and put up for a little less.

Quasqai are just a gimmick like the dacia duster people think they are in big suv(jeeps).

Exactly!! Its the main reason for change to be honest. I miss the space and comfort of the saloons.

Just wanted to get an idea of price for my own. They're going for up to 14,500 on Carzone, right down to about 10,000. Dont want to price too high or too low either.

New model Qashqai only came out in 2014. I take it's the facelift model you are talking about. Is yours a petrol or diesel?

Normally the Qashqai is easy enough to sell privately but your problem is that in your price range most people either prefer the security of buying from a dealer and getting a warranty or the other factor that anyone spending that sort of coin is either borrowing or financing. Banks are insisting these days that you must buy from a registered dealer to get a car loan.
