    Hi slig 17
I had it recently. They found it from a stomach scope I had done. My symptoms were nausea, recurring sore throat, pains in stomach.
I was given a dose of 3 tablets to clear it. An antacid for a month and two antibiotics for 7 days. They made me more nauseous for the 7 days, but put up with it cos I was worried. The worst thing to do is Google it as it tells u stuff that may be irrelevant to u. I went back to doc when finished dose of medictation and she said that it is very common and it should be cleared after medication. Unless I have symptoms back, I don't need to get checked again.hope this is some help.

You should get tested again after treatment. It's not uncommon for treatment not to work. I had to have two rounds of treatment. First time I had scope, and second time just a breath test. Best of luck.

I had it, terrible reflux, burning in my throat, chest pains and even dizziness. I was diagnosed via a scope and was put on the triple therapy (3 sets of antibiotics) for 7 days.

The triple therapy is terrible, I was so sick from day 3-4 onwards but the doc made me persist with the treatment.

It did work, Im much better now.

    Beat of luck with it
