I watched it there yesterday(bit late) I'm interested in the whole Slavery topic so I've watched a few of these type of movies but 12 years I just found sort of disturbing and kind of dragged out. Django was a million times more enjoyable

Watching Django because you're interested in slavery is a but like watching Inglorious Basterds because you're interested in WWII, then complaining about Schindlers List because it wasn't exciting enough.

Seems boring to me so haven't watched it. Prefer looking at jobsbridge.

    Imagine how the slaves felt

Django was a load of shite imo.

Not really talking about the feelings of the slaves although I was disgusted at their treatment, but more so the film itself. Didn't really find it as interesting as other slavery films I've watched tbqh. Ah but django was extremely entertaining and although crazy in some parts still was based on a real life figure.

    I... don't think that's true.

Hi OP - try the film forum or one of it's sub forums - AH isn't the place to discuss films.

Not gonna move this thread, as they likely already have a thread on it.

    Thanks.
