Airtight paint

    Anyone here have experience of using airtight type paints?

    Chasing walls for electrical work soon and looking at options to airtight the chases.
    Can potentially use tapes/membranes, or thin plaster coat, or silicone/mastic, or I could probably even use a silicone like water sealing product I've left over - but if something could be painted on, it would be way simpler/faster.
