First time LEAP card user help

Hi, I have never used a leap card before. I'm working full-time so need to get the bus to go to work each days. I work 5 days a week, I work in the airport and coming from santry to the airport each day. That's two busses a day, five days a week. So that's 10 buses/journeys each week. MY QUESTION, how much should I top up…

MY QUESTION, how much should I top up my leapcard with each week and what do I say to the cashier when topping up ?

There is a weekly (7 day) cap of €40 for users in Dublin (not sure if this includes Airlink 747 if you use it) so this is the most you should ever need to top up or you can get a Rambler 5 Day Adult for €29.50. You just give your card to a Leap Card agent and they will load the ticket electronically to your card.

LEAP fare from Santry to the Airport is €2.05 = €20.50 per week.

Ask the staff in the shop to top it up with €21.

You can also use auto-top up which will create a direct debit from your bank account each time your card balance drops below €10 and tops it up with €30 each time, thus avoiding the need to visit a shop.
