Program at 10 p.m. tonight on UTV Ireland 'Terry Wogan's Ireland' where the greatest living Irishman visits the auld sod - north and south.

Clearly the folk in UTV Ireland copied and pasted the program description into their listings - it includes the dreaded 'E' word .....

The presenter completes his journey by visiting the north of the island. He reflects on the changing nature of Northern Ireland, witnessing several regeneration projects that aim to help the province recover from the damage of its recent past, before heading to Dublin, where he discovers how Eire's economic boom has been brought to a dramatic halt by the international financial crisis

I seem to remember that the BBC showed this originally - I think that RTE also aired it.

IIRC, this was the series where Terry interviewed Gay Byrne whilst being driven around Dublin...and Gaybo wasn't wearing a seatbelt!

That was definitely shown on the BBC and not UTV

Yes it was originally aired on the BBC in 2011, hadn't realised til I read the below. I enjoyed it as I didn't see it first time and had thought "great UTV Ireland are actually making some Irish programmes at last" but no, just more repeats
