Repointing Mix

    HI, I am looking to repoint a small area there the pointing has come loose on the front of my house.
    My query is can anybody tell me the mix for the pointing in the attached pic so that it will match .

    No problem seeing the pic on my laptop. It shows red brick with coloured pointing, looks like a cream colour with what looks like a white coloured grit.

    the house was built in late 40's or early 50's.
    I'm trying to find the make up of the pointing . itsl ooks like mortar between the bricks with this skim of cream pointing on the outer face.it nearly looks like crushed shell in the pointing. I live near to bull island and anything could have been used in those days .I found a railway rail used as an rsj across my kitchen.
