Extension tender

Ive got planning for a extension and my architect will be doing up the drawings and wants to know about types of doors, floors, kitchens etc to complete the extension.

What I would like is a tender done for the build to completed to a stage where everything is completed by the building contractor-externally finished all electrical work done(sockets, switches),heating system,1st fix plumbing for taps sinks, external doors and windows, external render, internal plastering.

So that I am left with a blank canvas to complete the project myself i.e wooden floors, internal doors, kitchens, bathrooms, skirting etc

With the new regulations will the different people involved(engineer pads architect) be ok with this-is this acceptable

Just wanted to get peoples opinions before I say it to the architect.

I think he means building control regs. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057198631

    .

Most of what you list are finishes and dont require certification so there should be no issue. Once the door openings are the correct size and the bathrooms are laid out correctly to meet regs then there would not be an issue.
