Uses For Small Claims Court

    Long story but I am seeking return of my property from a business. The property has a not insignificant value but I just want the property returned rather than a payment for the value of the property.

    Is it appropriate to raise an issue for return of property as a case with the Small Claims Court?

    I would have thought the guards would have been more appropriate unless there is a legitimate lien.

    AFAIK the only remedy through the small claims procedure is damages. They only deal with claims up to €2000.
