Hi. After 2 years without a scratch my beloved 820 came to an abrupt end tonight when I dropped it and damaged the screen. It is now pretty much lifeless. I had my pics backed up to one drive but not my contacts / messages. Is there any way of retrieving my contacts please? I take it they wouldn't be on the SIM card.
    Thanks!

Also, I desperately need to access my notes. Any ideas?!

What about plugging into computer via cable? Do you not use a live.com account for it which it syncs your contacts to separate from OneDrive?

You should be able to log in online at Outlook.com, which should at least have your contacts.

Where did you keep your notes on the phone? If it was on onenote, you can also access them through Outlook.com

Thank you. I did use one note but it seems only my first 10 notes or so are available, maybe this needed backing up as well. I am having no joy finding my contacts, I assumed in outlook.com they'd be under people. But this. Just seems to take me into my hotmail account!
