With glues, plastics and metals giving off harmful gasses when heated.

Is there a healthy vape option?

Seeing as vaping is supposed to be more healthy

What glue? And going on that logic, do you trust your kettle? :/

Yes, don't vape glue, plastic or metal. Whoever's been advising you to do so is steering you well wrong. Get yourself a cotton wick and some e-liquid, you won't look back.

use a decent clearomizer for starters, i know what you mean though, i use a mini protank 2 which i find pretty good, although i do notice occasionally i get a burnt taste, it is when i maybe vape it too much and it overheats a bit, getting a taste of burnt rubber is best way i describe it, it could be from the o ring seals, it is a concern i have so i try to not vape so much in one go

It's not the o-ring it's the wicking material in the coil it's a dry hit.

Well, if it's a burnt rubber taste it's the grommet holding the coil in place. Coil legs heat up and when they heat up too much (long drags) the grommet burns.

O-rings can burn IF heated up too much, which will only happen if you don't keep your wick wet and the heating elements are in direct contact with it for a long period of time.

Metal can cause toxic oxides to form when heated (coils) but not unless heated to a substantially higher temperature than our ecigs (1000's of degrees rather than hundreds).

Plastics can burn and release toxic gases when heated too much, however again there is only this possibility if your wicks are dry and you keep your finger on the fire button for a very VERY long time, at which point your battery will probably give out and/or your atomizer rendered useless anyhow.

If you really want to be ultimately completely over-the-top 100% "safe" you could use only Ceramic Wicks, , a completely stainless steel or glass Atomizer with tight enough fit to use without seals and on top of that only use unflavored VG Juice with a 5% mix of distilled water.

Bottom line - nothing should burn, you should be only producing vaporizing your juice. If anything is actually burning, something is wrong with your setup - stick to that mantra and you'll be safe enough.
